health policy, abortion access, and bioethics

I am a PhD candidate in Bioethics and Health Policy at Johns Hopkins University in the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Berman Institute of Bioethics. I have a BA in philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.

I study reproductive health policy in the United States with a primary focus on payment for abortion services. My dissertation is a qualitative study of grassroots abortion funds in the United States. This work is supported by a research grant from the Society of Family Planning and The Charlotte W. Newcombe Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship.
